Shamanic principles applied to business
Done in a way that honors your energy—and that of your clients.
If you didn’t know yet, when I’m not doing design and art direction I’m devoted to my shamanic path. I study with the elders from the Q’ero Nation of the highlands of Peru and their teachings have been weaving with every aspect of my life, including my design practice and my coaching sessions (in design and energy healing).
When I share their teachings I’m not only honoring them but also awakening an ancient memory within you and helping you rewire your own mind to understand that doing business can be done differently, like our ancestors used to do it—we just forgot.
Business isn't meant to drain you.
It’s meant to nourish you, connect you, and become an offering to the world.
In the modern world, we’re often taught to hustle, chase, and perform… but what if your business could become a living prayer?
As a Q’ero lineage apprentice from the Andes, I’ve come to understand that our work is not separate from nature, spirit, or energy.
In fact, when we apply shamanic principles to business — everything begins to shift.
Your offerings align. Your clients feel seen. You work in flow, not depletion.
In this post, I’ll share how you can bring sacred, ancestral wisdom into your business — whether you’re a coach, creative, healer, or visionary soul.
Let’s start with the basics…What are shamanic principles?
Shamanism sees all of life as energy.
In the Andean Cosmovision, we are part of a sacred web — connected to the Earth (Pachamama), the elements, the spirits of place, and the unseen.
Shamanic work involves deep listening, reciprocity, and honoring the energy of all things. the animals, stones, plants and above all the cosmos.
When we apply this to business, it becomes less about output… and more about right relationship.
Listening to the energy of your business
Your business has its own spirit — its own energy body. I usually call it the entity that wish to come to manifest in this relaity and we are only the vehicle. Instead of forcing ideas, I sit in ceremony with my business. I ask:
What wants to be created?
Where is the energy flowing?
What is no longer aligned?
what do I need to let go of?
This is how shamanic business is born — by co-creating with the energy around us.
Working in ‘Ayni’ (Sacred reciprocity)
One of the most sacred principles of Andean shamanism is ayni — reciprocity and right relationship. In business, this means:
Not overgiving beyond your capacity
Creating clear energetic exchanges (pricing, boundaries)
Working with clients who respect your medicine
Resting as part of the cycle, not as a luxury
You honour your own energy and the energy of your clients.
Ceremony, cycles & offering
In the Q’ero tradition, everything is ceremony. Life becomes a ritual, it’s so beautiful. Bringing shamanic wisdom into business could look like:
Launching with ritual and intention
Cleansing your workspace with smoke or flowers
Offering gratitude to Pachamama for your abundance
Aligning your business planning with the moon or seasons
When you see your business as a sacred offering, it radiates authenticity and magnetism.
The future of business is ancestral—or like my teachers say: ‘The future is ancient’
As more soul-led women return to the wisdom of the Earth, we remember that business can be sacred, cyclical, and sustainable.
I can help you learn how to integrate the feminine aspects of the energy to your life and business and allow the masculine to hold space for your creations instead of pushing to hard and creating an imbalance in your body and energy field.
When you root your work in ancient ways, you create something powerful — a brand that heals, connects, and transforms.
